Aims
- To promote the standard of practice of counselling in Hong Kong.
- To advance researches including the publication of researches in the

of counselling in Hong Kong.
- To establish ethical standards and provide guidance for counselling
education in Hong Kong.
- To enhance the understanding and acceptance of counselling and to
develop and maintain counselling services for the promotion of mental
health in society.
Activities
- To promote professional development and standard of practice through
organising counselling seminars, workshops and international conference
for professionals.
- To promote mental health in people and to enhance their understanding
and acceptance of counselling through talks, seminars and workshops.
- To publish the "Asian Journal of Counselling".
- To develop and produce audio-visual resources for counsellor training.
- To provide consultation services to agencies and schools.
