- M.A. degree . in Individual Counselling, University of Ottawa and St. Paul University ( Ottawa, Canada) 1985
- M.A. degree from Creighton University ( Omaha, USA) in Christian Spirituality.
- Post-graduate family therapy training in Philadelphia Child Guidance Center, one of the pioneer centerfor MFT in 1996.
- Clinical fellow in American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) in 1996, and approvedsupervisor in 2000.
- Integrating the aspect of Spirituality with Depth Psychology in the clinical setting, Adelina furtherstudied in the field of Jungian Analytical Psychology.
- She is now the teaching member of International Society of Sandplay Therapy (ISST), using sandplay therapy for psychic transformation, and a Jungian Analyst, member of International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP)

- She is supervisor in Resource Counselling Centre. (2006-present)

- One of the founder of Hong Kong Sandplay Therapy Association (HKSTA) in 2010
- Restructure the organization of the Hong Kong Institute of Analytical Psychology (HKIAP) in 2017.
