With the active support of HKPCA members and potential members, AGM 2015 was held in great success on August 13, 2015. We were honoured to invite Dr. C.K. LAW , associate professor, Department of Social Work & Social Administration, HKU and First Registrar of Social Worker Registration Board, to be our guest speaker to share with us his precious experience in “Professionalism and Certification in Counselling- from the Experience of Social Work Professional
Development:”. A total of 78 members/potential members joined the meeting, with 84.42% attendant rate. A buffet dinner was held after 
the meeting providing a good chance for members to socialize and have more informal sharing.
- A total of 8 master degree programs offered by 7 tertiary institutions in Hong Kong have been accredited. Among them, 6 programs
offered by 5 institutions recently passed the three-year review (HKU, CUHK, PolyU, CityU, BU) with 1 program (Bethel Bible Seminary) undergoing its final review. Vice
President Dr. Annis FUNG had further elaborated the background and latest progress report. - A total of 8 motions were passed in the meeting and details are listed in our official website www.hkpca.org.hk
- In order to further promote the counselling development in Hong Kong, a Professional Development/ Research committee will soon be formed to perform researches on related issues.
