Dear valuable HKPCA Members,
Thank you for your continuous support to the Association over the past 24 years.
As your 2019 membership will expire by 31 December 2019, members will be cordially invited to renew your 2020 membership by end of the year. To simplify the renewal procedures, you will receive your personalized 2020 membership card enclosed in invitation letter by normal post around November 2019.
To encourage timely completion of membership renewal we have introduced a three year membership with discount offer. Details will be listed in the invitation letter.
What action should a member do next?
- Upon receiving in the invitation letter, please fill in the renewal form together with membership fee payment by crossed cheque.
- Cheque made payable to “The Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association Limited” should be sent to HKPCA on/before 31 January 2020 by normal post.
Upon receipt of your membership payment in January 2020, we will activate your membership status on the HKPCA website. Official receipt and certificate will only be sent upon request. Please note that your 2020 renewal will become valid ONLY after payment is settled and your name is listed in our membership listing at HKPCA official website www.hkpca.org.hk
As an active HKPCA Full Member or above, you will receive the most updated newsletters from the Association, enjoy discount in joining our workshops, obtain professional indemnity insurance at a special rate and many other privileges.
1) Professional members: Certified Counsellor/ Approved Supervisor must renew with general membership at the same time of renewal. They need to report their CPD points accumulated in the past 12 months to the association by end of every year via online system or by form. This is to secure their professional membership for the coming year. Minimum CPD points is 10. Details of CPD scheme should be referred to our website under Membership corner.
2) From this year onwards, all duplicated or overpaid fees will not be returned and will be transferred as donation to the association.
